You're quite right about Apex: I had an article in the Winter 2006 issue ("'Strange and Fearful Imaginations': Rediscovering the Terror of Baron de la Motte Fouqué") and in the Winter 2005 issue ("The New Shoggoth Chic: Why H.P. Lovecraft Now?"). I also have an essay coming out in one of their soon-to-be announced anthologies soon. :)

Your anthropology class sounds like it was wonderful. I wish I'd been sitting in! I somehow missed out on anthropology as an undergrad (???), so I had a lot to make up for in graduate school!
