The most important thing I got to do last week was meet my two-and-a-half-week-old baby niece, Kaitlyn Margret.

Isn't being an auntie the best? I loved playing with my niece when she was little. Now she's in college. O_o We still manage to have fun, though. :D

It's fabulous! On my husband's side of the family we a grown niece (out of college) and nephew (in college) I've known since they were young (but not this young!), and a younger nephew currently in school I've known since he was born. This is the first baby on my side of the family. I feel blessed in every direction!

It sounds like you and your niece have a great relationship! That's brilliant.
