Halloween Countdown, Day 12

Every year, my parents send their granddog, the fabulous Virginia, a Halloween costume for her to wear (as well as treats to bribe her to model for pictures). This year she is a banana split. That's right: a banana split. *wink*

What a sweet and forbearing dog. I like the bee suit. I like the poem too. It is exactly the time I am trying to learn about. The poem really gives a feeling of the pre-electric light world.

What a good, good girl Virginia is. I think my favorite is the bee, though the banana split "takes the cake" for this year. (Sorry, my jokes are bad before I've had coffee.)
