i kept thinking of this swamp mound we have in southern lafayette, louisiana, called literally "indian swamp mound," that's said to have buried treasure but is haunted. when we go fishing and swimming, we can see the mound from a distance, and it's always creeped me out to be in the deep water for too long and have that looming over your shoulder! :O
