POLL ALERT! Thinking ahead to October...
Sep. 2nd, 2008 07:01 amThanks to everyone who took part in my recent poll about science fiction/fantasy television! (If you haven't and you'd like to do so, it's still open.) It looks like, from among the returning series, Heroes, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Supernatural, and Pushing Daisies have the highest following among my friends. The new series that look to have the best chance with my friends are Dollhouse (by a large margin), Fringe, Caprica, and True Blood. Firefly won by a healthy margin as the series my friends would most like to see return to television this Fall. (Yay Browncoats!)
Speaking of polls, 'tis the season for a poll about my LJ Halloween tradition of the last three years:
[Poll #1252345]
Thanks for participating!

Date: 2008-09-02 01:54 pm (UTC)Another one season wonder I've been checking out that should have lasted longer is The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. A real shame that.

(But now that I think of it, a post about the hammiest vampires ever would be a ton of fun! Hmmm...)
*can't wait for October*

Date: 2008-09-09 12:25 am (UTC)I had never heard of LibraryGhost.com, but thanks to you, I checked it out. How awesome is that? Now I'm hooked. I love the official Willard ghost tour and the walkthrough video, and the fact they have the cams going for our ghost-hunting pleasure. ;) Thanks for the excellent recommendation!
(Incidentally, didn't you recommend Surviving Antarctica: Reality TV 2083? Thank you so much for that. I'm in the middle of it right now, and it's on my students' dystopian reading list.)

Date: 2008-09-22 06:15 pm (UTC)For me, the Firefly and Dr. Horrible 'verses have bought him the benefit of the doubt.
