I'm emerging from the land of syllabus preparation with a quick note and hello.

Sara T. Hinson has an interesting article on "Freedom and Firefly" in Brainwash, touching on some of the issues my class discussed when we watched Firefly in relation to Frederick Jackson Turner's "frontier thesis."
