Mood Music for the Holidays, revisited
Dec. 4th, 2006 02:14 pmAt this time last year, I shared my picks for the best "Mood Music for the Holidays." I still adore my original choices. In fact, I'm listening to Winter's Knight right this minute.
Here are a few more I would add:
* An Even Scarier Solstice by the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, brand new and even better than its predecessor
* Nutcracker Suite for Guitar by Stevan Pasero, a gentle and mesmerizing album
* Yule by Linn Barnes and Allison Hampton, for Celtic harp, guitar, and lute goodness
* December by George Winston, a classic now available in its 20th anniversary version
And now, a quiz from the wonderful
myrebelcat:
( Which of the Professionals are You? )
At Christmas I no more desire a rose
Than wish a snow in May’s new-fangled mirth;
But like of each thing that in season grows.
- William Shakespeare, Love's Labors Lost
