Happy early birthday to [livejournal.com profile] rosamundeb and [livejournal.com profile] kalquessa! May you have a fantastic day and new year to come.

Virginia has been quite a sick girl, which is why I have been quiet of late. She's on the mend, but all good thoughts and positive vibes sent her way are most appreciated.

I have lots of links to share:

"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."
