Yes, I have read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

And yes, it was good for me. Very much so. Very.

A non-spoilerish quote for the day:

"But nothing I have seen in the the world has supported your famous pronouncements that love is more powerful than my kind of magic, Dumbledore."

"Perhaps you have been looking in the wrong places," suggested Dumbledore.

Yep. From the second chapter (not the first, because I think it was completely unnecessary) I was thinking, "Now, THIS is what I wanted to read two years ago."

It was just FULL of good stuff.

Exactly! FULL of good stuff.

The quote I'd add after the wonderful one you posted is this:

"No Draco.... It is my mercy, and not yours, that matters now."

And...

"Some people, perhaps, would say there was little to choose between the two ways, but Dumbledore knew -- and so do I, thought Harry, and so did my parents -- that there was all the difference in the world."

I could keep going on, but I'll stop now. :)

Sigh.

I did prefer this book to the last. Even though "The Goblet of Fire" is my favorite.

This was a good book. Everything is now setup perfectly for the final book.

Isn't it? Though I don't know how I'll wait another 1-2 years!

Yes, I know.. Again... Sigh. All I keep saying is... "Poor Harry Potter." I don't want to say why. But you can see that in this book he really starts to look comfortable in that Potterness of his. In the last one he was getting responsibility and going through puberty. But in this one he is really getting comfortable in his own skin.
