I do tend to look for odd ones, especially those that cross over with any of my other areas of interest, such as science fiction, or Lovecraft, or a particular historical event/figure, etc.

I haven't read The French Artillery Officer, but based on your recommendation (I love a good Watson), I now must read it. :D Thanks so much for the heads up about it!
