The aging hobgoblin (which ensures that no glasses, dress or even pair o' p.j.'s will make you happy, since you ain't even looking at them, but at what surrounds them!)
General cussedness, which also seems to grow worse with time.
I DO love those glasses on your niece. She is kicky and cool!

Date: 2014-06-24 05:35 pm (UTC)Added to these I have a Freakishly Small Head problem. (This is related to my Freakishly Small Hand problem, which ruled out some of the wider smartphones for me. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say I have Freakishly Small problem, full stop.) Several of my older glasses -- and now my new sunglasses -- come from the children's section, because most women's glasses are far too big for my face. This time around I narrowed down a couple of my options only to discover that one pair I liked had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle on the side, and one had BARBIE written in day-glo pink up and down the earpieces. *sigh*
No one designs things for hobbits these days. *winks*
And thanks - she is kicky and cool! We have a Skype date tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to hearing all of her latest news. She usually sings and dances for me, too, which is all kinds of awesome.

Date: 2014-06-25 12:24 pm (UTC)Oy, listen to us going on about problems like *these*....pitiable, ain't we?
We'll have to start Hobbit Haberdashery and address these horrid problems.
I've never Skyp'd...sounds wonderful! Enjoy.
