"the month of expectation"
Mar. 19th, 2007 06:57 amI have a few notes to share today:
* Beginning publication in Fall 2007, The Journal of Horror Studies is self-described as "the first on-going, serious academic study of the horror genre, fusing research in film, television, literature, computer games historical and cultural studies."
* SFSite has announced the results of the Readers' Choice Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Books of 2006 poll.
* Speaking of the SFSite, I highly recommend the new "Overlooked or Overhyped?" review column by Neil Wash.
* Here's a new article for Tolkien lovers: "Inside the Hobbit House: Appreciating a modern-day cottage based on mythical literature" from FineHomebuilding.com.
* Please support

March is the month of expectation,
The things we do not know,
The Persons of Prognostication
Are coming now.
We try to sham becoming firmness,
But pompous joy
Betrays us, as his first betrothal
Betrays a boy.
- Emily Dickinson, XLVIII
