I'm not able to check it out due to having a dial-up, but would I be correct in assuming that it has something to do with the Lovecraftian undertones of The Rainbow Connection? I also have a comparison imp of the current Miskatonic University, and despite the fact this one is clearly coffee, I think it's surprisingly similar to the butterscotch version.
