Happy Tuesday!
Jun. 5th, 2007 08:09 amHappy birthday to the fabulous
primroseburrows! May you have a wonderful day and many, many more! Happy early birthday wishes also go out to
eowynmaiar and
sally_maria, with hopes that your special days are all that you could wish.
* In other news, Harry and the Potters are currently touring the US and Canada. I can say from personal experience that their concerts are great fun.
* The History News Network gave a nice shout out to John Crowley's fiction Monday in "Novel features historian as main character."
* I've updated my list of favorite links.

WOW! Our first show with the Chicago Public Library. It should be NUTS! We're playing up in the 9th floor Winter Garden. Don't miss this!
That sounds AMAZING. Damn... Now I'm going to have to make phone calls and figure out logistics and get a catsitter...
Have you been to the Chicago Public Library? Oh. My. Gosh.

Date: 2007-06-11 12:10 pm (UTC)I regret that I haven't been to the Chicago Public Library. (One of the hazards of being in academia: the only libraries I ever seem to go to these days are college ones.) I can imagine it's quite amazing, though. Perfect for HatP to "Rock the Library"! :)
By the way, have you seen the film The Revengers Tragedy? We just saw it. There are SO MANY reasons to love this film, not the least of which are Christopher Eccleston and Derek Jacobi. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

Of course, the *previous* library space (now the Chicago Cultural Center) *literally* brings me to tears every time I go in it, so the new space isn't that incredible compared to that... But still, OMG SQUEE! The Chicago Library!
I have Revengers Tragedy on the list, but haven't seen it yet - Will bump it up a little higher... :-) And BTW, spoiler girl - DJ is in the next ep of DW. !!!
