Arthur Miller, 1915-2005
Feb. 11th, 2005 12:07 pmA great playwright is gone. Rest in peace, Arthur Miller.
"A fire, a fire is burning! I hear the boot of Lucifer, I see his filthy face! And it is my face, and yours, Danforth! For them that quail to bring men out of ignorance, as I have quailed, and as you quail now when you know in all your black hearts that this be fraud - God damns our kind especially, and we will burn, we will burn together!"
- Arthur Miller, The Crucible

Date: 2005-02-11 08:38 pm (UTC)My sister studied Native American Studies in school and thought she might wanna teach on a reservation. Turns out she became a geographer instead. But it was deeply moving to read about them. And to hear her talk about them.
We're going to the Powwow next weekend in Northridge. Good luck with it.
I'd love to see some of your other work. If you don't mind me knowing about it.
