Check out the Apex Halloween Raffle! Here's a chance to fill your pillowcase with all sorts of goodies, including rare items from some of the biggest names in the field. Included are autographed books, story critiques, subscriptions, and rare collectors' items in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres. (Note: Among the items to be raffled are autographed copies of my edited works from Valancourt Books, The Magic Goblet and The Magic Ring.) Tickets are only $1, and a percentage of all proceeds made will go to the National Center for Family Literacy! Winners are announced on Halloween.

Link recommendation #2:
There is a terrific new website celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future here. It's hard to believe it's been twenty years.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, we don't have a signed copy of Magic Goblet. Maybe I should bid! Although, I have to say it goes horribly against my principles. If there's one thing I'm opposed to more than any other, it's family literacy ;)

::beams:: Thank you so much! :D I appreciate it. And I did have a wonderful day, thanks.

Will definitely check out the links. Oh, by the way, nice quote. I've heard good things about that guy . . . something about a really interesting sci-fi novel. Giant sandworms and stuff. ;)

You always find the good stuff!

The only flaw in that Captain Power page is there's no mention of JMS in there. Other that that, good stuff. I still miss that show, and made sure to mention it at Dragon*Con in the "One Season Wonders" panel.

Aw, thanks! Good point about the JMS mention (or lack thereof). And, as a fellow fan, I thank you for giving it a shout out at Dragon*Con!
