Tomorrow I will begin my month-long "daily spooky post" routine for the celebration of my favorite month, October. I have enjoyed planning out all of my posts, and I hope you will find them fun! Until then, take care and have a great day.

Thanks for the kind words about the pictures! Virginia's definitely made this place her own. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the wild turkeys that run by here every few days, but I think she's just about decided that nothing that silly can be real, so she'll just ignore them until they go away. :)

Thank you so much!!! I really love it. I was raised in the city, but somehow it didn't "take." Well, to be honest, I like to have my cake and eat it too, and this seems the best of both worlds: in 15 minutes I have my Starbucks and Barnes & Noble and downtown shops and farmers' market and movie theater, but then again, in 15 minutes I'm home, and have trees and deer and rabbits and peace. :)

Thanks for asking - I am at last feeling better. I was pretty much off of solid food through Friday, but then I woke up and felt remarkably better, and I still do. Thank heavens! I appreciate your good thoughts. I'm sorry I haven't been around quite as much: I'm on the downhill run with Tecumseh now. I've been loving your gorgeous posts.
