Podcast news and poll
Dec. 7th, 2007 09:17 amThe Classic Tales Podcast is currently presenting a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol in three parts. The Sword of Gryffindor blog (
sword_gryff on LJ) is hosting a discussion of each of the three installments.
Speaking of holiday podcasts, I highly recommend checking out the old "Yule 2005" episode of the Cremation Ground: Emanations Podcast for some wonderful medieval, world, and Gothic music. You can read the setlist here.
While I'm on the subject of podcasts, I thought I'd ask about the listening habits of my friends. I subscribe to two podcasts, The Classic Tales and StarShipSofa, but I also try to keep an eye on several others, including The Atlanta Radio Theatre's Podcast, The Signal, Sword of Gryffindor: Hog's Head Pubcast, Reading the Gothic, The Horror! (Old Time Radio) (for the Lovecraft!), and Cremation Ground: Emanations.
[Poll #1102130]
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.
- from Oliver Herford, "I Heard a Bird Sing"
