It's been a remarkably good year for fungus in North Carolina. Even in the pruned and primped neighborhood my sister's house is in, there have been overnight appearances of big gorgeous mushrooms! Ah, the encroachment of nature's randomness on the golf course sensibility! *laughs maniacally*
