I am off to MidSouthCon 23. I look forward to checking in with everyone when I return!

To best coordinate all aspects of the event, we have moved registration and ticket sales for the "'Past Watchful Dragons': Fantasy and Faith in the World of C.S. Lewis" conference to April 8, 2005. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

And now, for a quote for the day:

"I am who I choose to be. I always have been what I chose... though not always what I pleased."
Lois McMaster Bujold, Memory

Bye Amy! I hope you have a great time! :)

Brian and I will be running the Hypericon table at MTAC as time permits-- no gaming for me this weekend. :( But I will be teaching my first "How to Draw" class! It's so funny-- I've taught classes before, but all biology, never any art classes! Life's funny like that. ;-)

I hope all your presentations go well-- wish I could be there to see them. The fans at MSC are in for a real treat! :-)

Think I could cram a couple more smileys in this post? ;-)

LOL! :) Thanks so much! I had a wonderful time. How about you two? I hope MTAC was wonderful -- especially your "How to Draw" class! (What a great idea!) MSC just whetted my appetite for more, so I can't wait for Hypericon! Looking forward to seeing you soon (this next weekend at Xanadu, in fact)! :)

Thanks so much! :) I'm sorry for the delay, but this way we will have the hotel information and everything new all together, which I think will make everything much, much smoother for registrants. Once again, I owe you one for helping me pass along word!

Thanks so much! It was a wonderful time, and the Middle-Earth Gaming Association was there, and lots of people were really interested and enthusiastic about the Tolkien programming, so I had lots of fun. The MSC people are incredibly hospitable and friendly. Next weekend is Xanadu in Nashville. Any chance you'll be there? ::fingers crossed::

They are a really great bunch aren't they!I actually starting gaming with some of the folks I met at the Baggin's Birthday Bash as a matter of fact. Its really fun.

Sounds like the con went really well.I'm glad that there was a lot of interest in the Tolkien track.I would have loved to have gone, but my BF has so much work to do that we figured we might have to just stay in town for a while. We are still trying to figure out if we are going out of town this weekend or not.If we don't,he will problably be working saturday so I might be able to pop down to the con for a little while.

you masochist

LOL! Yeah, well, I have a hard time saying no to invitations when they're this interesting! MSC is simply loads of fun with some of the nicest and most interesting people around, so I have a hard time saying no to anything. But it's worth it. Now I just need to find a few hours to sleep! (I am a bit old, in lifestyle if not in years, for the 10pm panel! LOL!)

Thanks so much! Memory is brilliant. I adore her Vorkosigan books, of which Memory is one of the very best. I can't recommend Bujold enough!

Thanks SO much! I am thrilled that you like the site. The organizing thing is going fine, though I regret the short postponement of the registration, but it was out of my hands. The good news is the updates, including the hotel connections, will all be up at once, which should make things super-easy (I hope!) for registrants. Yea! :)
