"what I chose"
Mar. 31st, 2005 06:07 pmI am off to MidSouthCon 23. I look forward to checking in with everyone when I return!
To best coordinate all aspects of the event, we have moved registration and ticket sales for the "'Past Watchful Dragons': Fantasy and Faith in the World of C.S. Lewis" conference to April 8, 2005. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
And now, for a quote for the day:
"I am who I choose to be. I always have been what I chose... though not always what I pleased."
Lois McMaster Bujold, Memory

Date: 2005-04-01 12:42 am (UTC)Brian and I will be running the Hypericon table at MTAC as time permits-- no gaming for me this weekend. :( But I will be teaching my first "How to Draw" class! It's so funny-- I've taught classes before, but all biology, never any art classes! Life's funny like that. ;-)
I hope all your presentations go well-- wish I could be there to see them. The fans at MSC are in for a real treat! :-)
Think I could cram a couple more smileys in this post? ;-)

Date: 2005-04-05 01:05 am (UTC)Sounds like the con went really well.I'm glad that there was a lot of interest in the Tolkien track.I would have loved to have gone, but my BF has so much work to do that we figured we might have to just stay in town for a while. We are still trying to figure out if we are going out of town this weekend or not.If we don't,he will problably be working saturday so I might be able to pop down to the con for a little while.

Date: 2005-04-04 01:07 pm (UTC)LOL! Yeah, well, I have a hard time saying no to invitations when they're this interesting! MSC is simply loads of fun with some of the nicest and most interesting people around, so I have a hard time saying no to anything. But it's worth it. Now I just need to find a few hours to sleep! (I am a bit old, in lifestyle if not in years, for the 10pm panel! LOL!)
