Wow! Thank you, everyone! Thanks to your kind support and encouragement, I am now a finalist in this year's Sofanaut Awards for podcasting in two categories: Best Narrator and
Best Fact Article Contributor (for my "Amy H. Sturgis's History of the Genre" segments).

The final round of voting is open now here and will remain open until January 23. (A complete list of my podcast commentaries, interviews, and unabridged dramatic readings, complete with links for downloading, is available here.)

Many, many thanks to all of you who have been listening, encouraging, and supporting me! I am truly grateful.

Congratulations!

Amy, I'm delighted that you've been short-listed for the Sofanaut's Awards! And in 2 categories! I'm pulling for you to win the Best Fact Article award. Which isn't to say that you aren't a fantastic narrator yourself (I just loved your most recent one - "Escape from New Austin" - the singing was inspired!). Just I REALLY love your articles. Every single one is fabulous and so varied. I'm continually amazed.

Well done, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Thank you so much! The Fact Article segment is very near and dear to my heart - I still can't believe I get to do it every month! - and so I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoy it. I just recorded one for "us girls," so I hope you'll like it! ;)

Your kindness and encouragement mean a great deal to me. Thank you.
