Thanks for the link! Possibly stupid question: is it spoilery?

And, that reminds me to post my own music video soon. Brain like a sieve some days.

:)

Oooh, yes! You must post your own video, please!

Honestly, I don't think this is very spoilery at all. Remember the short preview that came out some months ago, with Qui-Gon and company in it, as well? If you saw that, you're spoiled enough already so that this won't be a big surprise. (Frankly, a lot of this is ships and CGI.) The nice thing about this is that it shows Anakin from the first two films (and Qui-Gon again from TPM!), so there's a lot of continuity. The long trailer that came out recently had quite a few spoilers: this has far less, IMHO.

PS. One nice thing on the site is word that the new sountrack will include a DVD on the making of all the Star Wars music. Sounds terrific!

Thank you for the info! I'll be on my way to download it then. :) I'm just rather desperate to not take away any of the surprise of the film (apart from the basics we already know will happen).

I'm glad to hear of the continuity! That was what got me so excited when the initial teaser was released, the tying of it all together. No mean feat when the saga stretches across 30 years.

And the DVD sounds fantastic! It's all very exciting :)

I hope you enjoy it! I hope I'm right about the spoiler thing: really, if you know Palpatine's bad and Anakin becomes Vader, I think that's about it.

I'm glad to hear of the continuity! That was what got me so excited when the initial teaser was released, the tying of it all together.

I agree! Actually, that's one of the reasons I'm so excited about the music, too, because just hearing some of those themes will give me chills and help me connect all of these films, you know?

Anyway, enjoy!

It does, and it rocks. It is at Best Buy, this week only, for 11.95 instead of 18.95, so go grab it before Friday. The DVD alone is worth the price of entry. It has each of the main themes with video from all five films out so far, and one chapter about the fall of Ani that I did not watch, as to stay spoiler-free. I'm sure you'll love it, spolier-wench. ;)

It's very cool how they weave it all together with the music and clips to tell the whole saga.

You said it! Have you seen this? (Pardon the pimping.) I just thought it might give you a smile.

Here's to the Jedi and the women who love them! :)

Yup Ive seen it:

Alan Rickman as Severus Snape in the Harry Potter Movie Series: "Hogwarts Hunk"

Sean Bean as Boromir in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: "Redeemed Hunk"

Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace: "Forceful Hunk"

*goes fangirl squee, especially on Liam being a Forceful Hunk!*

I mean- how can you argue with this statement:

"He has it all: the eyes, the voice, the hair, the athletic power and grace, the intellectual firepower and control, and a liberal amount of Jedi mystery and tragedy, to boot -- everything, in fact, but a decent movie script for his film, and he's so hot I can't hold that against him. Liam Neeson stands heads and shoulders above anyone else the entertainment industry currently has to offer in terms of pure thinking-woman's hunkage, in my humble opinion. He was tragically underused and shortchanged in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, but the camera and I still love him."

Qui Gon is definetly ther sexiest Jedi, even though hes meant to be about in his mids 50s :)

Blessed Be!

Mmmm, the magic of John Williams. Still, I have to wonder what a Howard Shore Star Wars score would be like. Or one by my personal favorite movie music guy, Graeme Revell.

I have downloaded and listend, but did not watch for fear of spoilers. I think I would have loved Ep. I a lot more if I had not seen any previews, thus not knowing about the look of Maul or that he had a double-bladed saber. It was filmed beautifully, first seeing him in the blue holo, then in the flowing robe, then when he pops the hood back revealing the horns...then that shot of him lighting the other end of the saber...it would have been a mind-blowing suprise.

I have such a love/hate relationship with trailers... :)

LOL! That's okay -- I'll take my share of spoilers and yours too, then. I am a shameless hussy for spoilers! :)

Oh I can't wait now! Did I ever tell you that when Star Wars first came out, I used to sleep with the book under my pillow so I would dream about it? Actually, now that I think about it - it wasn't when it first came out, but a few years later. Geez what a nerd :-)

It's an amazing storyline when you think about it. Usually a movie/story starts with the evil one just there - already evil. Here we see it happening and know why. And we liked him! If Anakin could only have saved his mother, maybe he would not have had the unbeatable drive to become all powerful. I hope this movie will really show the anguish all the characaters will go thru watching Anakin turn.

Wouldn't it be fun to get a few people together to go see this?
