This weekend is overflowing with birthdays! Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] nurdbunny, and happy early birthday to [livejournal.com profile] graashoppa, [livejournal.com profile] lisa_marli, [livejournal.com profile] parisntripfan, [livejournal.com profile] toddlyles, and [livejournal.com profile] pktheater! May all of you have a terrific day and a wonderful year to come.

And speaking of an embarrassment of riches, after a new Tori Amos album in May comes a new Mediaeval Baebes album in June. I just got Illumination, and thus far, I'm enjoying it tremendously.

Omg, they are such babes. Lol, sorry. Every time I see a picture of them, I go a little gaga. XD

Science fiction videos of Michael Jackson = strangely awesome and enchanting (my first though was, "Are they any that aren't?")

They have great fun with their babe-ness, too. You can tell!

"Strangely awesome and enchanting" sums them up well, I think.

I've never heard of Mediaeval Baebes before. Not sure if I should thank you or pout that you've passed this on LOL I need more music to buy like another hole in the head!

LOL! Sorry about that (er, or not). Since October Project is no longer together (again), The Mediaeval Baebes has become my favorite band. I absolutely love their music! Give them a try - you know you want to! *evil laugh*

Thanks for the birthday wishes. On another note, I love the Mediaeval Baebes, although I've not really kept up with the band. Looks like their line-up is now about half what it once was.

I hope you had a great one!

I'm glad to hear you're a fan, too! The number of Baebes definitely seems to fluctuate with each album. I've given up trying to figure out why sometimes there are more and sometimes fewer of them. It's a mystery to me! This new one has a big sound nonetheless, though, I'm happy to say.
