At last, a meme I really like...

The best meme ever:
I want to have a complete soundtrack with one song from each of my friends. Pick one song (or more if you want) you want me to associate with you, then comment. You don't have to upload it. Just give me the name and artist, and I will find it myself. It can be your favorite song in the whole world, a recent favorite or just a song that you think really identifies you.
Thank you!

Date: 2005-09-16 11:04 pm (UTC)Oooh, good David Byrne tune! Do you mind sending me the Hunters & Collectors song? I'm not seeming to find it very easily. Thanks so much!
And I don't mind the Proclaimers. In fact, I would walk a thousand.... No, better stop there. :)

Date: 2005-09-15 01:28 am (UTC)I feel this song captures why I make art. When I move my art-making space from one house to another, I always "bless" the new space by playing this song, first thing.

Date: 2005-09-15 05:31 pm (UTC)"Daydream Believer" by the Monkees
At heart, I'm a romantic. I want to believe the best about people I meet regardless of past experiences. Everything works out for the best, my life will eventually become the thing I dream it to be, I'll be surrounded by wonderful friends, family, and loved ones.
"Last Cup of Sorrow" by Faith No More
'Discovered' this song after a vicious falling out with a group of friends following a bad break-up. The song is all about how it's time to drink down that last cup of self-loathing and get on with your life. When I'm down about something and kicking myself because it's habitual for me, I listen to the song and begin the process of getting over it.

Date: 2005-09-15 06:06 pm (UTC)The only thing I remember of it, is that its featured on TV as a ringtone and ... that ... voice. x_____x; If I had the CD, I could tell you it's proper name.
Hopefully someone has seen this said commerical I speak of. :/
I forgot to put the band's name:
Date: 2005-09-15 06:11 pm (UTC)Disturbed.
and I think the song is "Guarded"
(( LJ needs an EDIT POST feature, badly. :/ ))
