It was nice to see you shout out some love to KALLOCAIN, one of the most depressing books I have ever read! It is already on my Retro Hugo nomination ballot. Karin Boye committed suicide less than a year after the book's publication; I can only imagine what her state of mind may have been.

I look forward to listening to part 2. Perhaps you'll be shouting out some love to L. Ron Hubbard and Edmond Hamilton as well?

It's lovely to hear you "enjoy" (not the right word, of course -- appreciate, perhaps?) the amazing Kallocain, too. Karin Boye's story is such a tragic one. Imagine what she might have written had she known a longer life! Very sad, as you rightly point out.
