Jan. 2nd, 2017 04:32 pmHow about Sherlock!?! Wow. Okay, on to links...
I had the pleasure and privilege of narrating a very powerful science fiction story, "In a Manner of Speaking" by Charity Tahmaseb, for Escape Pod. This one will stick with me a long time (in a very good way). One of the podcast listeners on the Escape Pod forum called it "*so good*. Like, be late to work because you have to hear the rest of the story good." I agree. My narration went online this week on Episode 556. If you listen, I hope you enjoy!
In other news, the Hocus Pocus Comics website is aliiiive! Aliiive, I say! You're invited to check us out. Thanks!

Date: 2017-01-03 01:33 am (UTC)another wow: the podcast!
(rec'd on my f/b page)
and a "yowza!' (is a 'yowza' just a 'wow' with a 'you' mashed in?) to the comics to be. You're starting '17 with fireworks to be sure!

Date: 2017-01-05 01:02 pm (UTC)perhaps i'm being a nit and picky but.....in Agra, Sherlock (in part of his meteor-fast monologue) tells Mary that he found her in part because he understands the psychology of her (although of course, he admits there was really a trace on the memory stick)....
from all we observe of Sherlock, and despite his own emotional failings, he *does* understand what makes humans tick....
which brings us to the scene in the Aquarium, where he bates Mrs. Norbury, and continues to do so despite being admonished to stop.
Either his logic has come a bit unglued, or......can we deduce that he wanted what happened to happen? Or did Mary need to disappear for a time (ie she's really alive, which also implies that either John is in this, too, or he's fooled again by a "Juliet death trick") and Sherlock is in on it....
Suspiciously Delicious....
