Date: 2017-06-05 11:16 pm (UTC)You're quite right about Tumblr and Twitter. Tumblr may be getting slightly better about this than it used to be, I think (which is still relative), but I still use Twitter mainly for sharing links, calls for papers, etc., and not actually engaging with others.
