Happy belated birthday to the lovely [livejournal.com profile] bellatook, and happy early birthdays to the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] sarah531 and the terrific [livejournal.com profile] wildviolet4. I am so happy that you are my friends, and I wish for each of you many wonderful birthdays to come!

Dog is God spelled backwards. That means something, I'm just not sure what exactly. But human is namuh spelled backwards.

LOL! Thanks. Somewhere I lost a week of March - I'm all off-kelter now, because my internal calendar missed a few days somewhere! Thanks for understanding. :) *hugs*

Thanks! I'm still waiting for a society to develop based on worship of Boston terriers. I am SO ready to join. :)

great interview and what a fantastic, truly inspirational press. all I usually ever hear are doom'n gloom stories about slashed (er, in the cutting down sense!) lists and conglomerated publishing stables. it's so refreshing to hear about someone with a passion for the genre who set out to change the access and availability of these texts.

I particularly loved his description of his 2nd Radcliffe recommendation: "a little shorter and features less poetry and more terror". he's got me sold on that already. ;)

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. I am so impressed with what VB has accomplished and is making possible for readers like me. I really consider it the stuff of heroism, to drive 28 hours in each direction and "save" a text, only to make it simply and cheap for others to enjoy it. I'm so glad I got to help get the story out, even in a modest way. Thanks so much for the kind words!
