Not dead, just working.
Apr. 19th, 2006 08:19 pmHello everyone! *waves* I just wanted to say that I'm not dead, just working. More updates soon. I'm wishing everyone the best in the meantime.
The quote of the day made me smile for several reasons. Yet another reason to love Valancourt Books (well done!):
An exciting forthcoming title announcement -- David Towsey of Oxford University will be editing Charles Robert Maturin's classic The Albigenses (1824) for Valancourt Books in 2007. The Albigenses was selected in March 2006 for inclusion in the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die, and it is Valancourt Books' sincere pleasure to bring this lost classic into print, thus giving the world at long last the opportunity, having read it, to die in peace.

Re: Lovecraftian
Date: 2006-04-25 05:01 pm (UTC)Sorry I'm so behind on correspondence. Two of my books are in the very final stages, and I have deadlines I must meet - not to mention the students' final projects and exams. This too shall pass.
You've made my day with you comment. Just last Dec. I had an article out in Apex Science Fiction and Horror Digest entitled "The New Shoggoth Chic: Why H.P. Lovecraft Now?" If you're interested in a copy, let me know.
Sending best wishes to the BKH...

Remind you of anyone you know? :D She's a hell of a writer, too.
