Thank you for posting these links; if only for the Iceland one; we were also there last year (in our case, May). A truly amazing country, especially for the geology; the sheer proliferation of waterfalls, glaciers, geysers and volcanoes was absolutely stunning.

Isn't it amazing? I was astounded by how young the actual landmass is, and how much they are still involved in a kind of "terraforming" project, introducing different plants and such. The volcanic geology was breathtaking. Did you get out into the countryside much? I only did for about two days, and I wish I had done so more. I was particularly smitten by the Icelandic horses - next time I want to go on a riding tour! Was that your first visit there? (It was mine.)

Yes, that was our first visit there, but I hope it won't be our last. We had about four days in Reykjavik; then four days touring the southern part of the country, with an excellent tour company, who got us right off the beaten track; then a few days on the little island of Heimaey, off the south coast. We did take a short horse ride on Heimaey, but Creatrix picked that time to discover an allergy to horses. Asking for anti-histamines in an Icelandic pharmacy is not fun!

I love that quote, and I totally agree. Aaron rocks. He's had some of the best moments this season. It's been great seeing him in action, helping jack go after Walter, heading out and rescuing Palmer the Younger, and his growing relationship with First Lady Sugarbaker.

ROFLOL! I love it - First Lady Sugarbaker and Palmer the Younger! I squealed out loud when Aaron called the president Charles. Beautifully done. He and Chloe are my heroes.

I loooooooove Chloe, she's a fantastic supporting character. I hated her when she first showed up, but warmed to her over the season and now only Jack is higher in my affections. She's the only character I know that can tell someone "thank you" and make it sound like "f(il)k you." :)
