eldritchhobbit: (Firefly/Mal/Cursed)

My newest Attack of the 5'2" Woman column, "Out of the Woods," is now available.

And for Browncoats and Dr. Who lovers, I must point out [livejournal.com profile] bellanut's post "Ten vs. Mal?"

Prof was interested on questions rather than answers, which baffled her.

Wow, I haven't even heard it and I am positive I will love Lingalad! That just makes me more excited than ever to attend the Gathering! I will have to bring enough money to spend shamelessly on CD's!

You will love their music. His "Tom Bombadil" made me read that character in a wholly new way and appreciate an entirely different aspect of that part of the story, for example. If you order that CD, you get the Italian "official" version and another copy in English translation. He and his band are simply amazing.

Thanks for reading the interview - I appreciate it!

That Ten v Mal is the funniest thing I've seen in ages.

Your icon always makes me LOL.
Isn't that Ten v. Mal post the best? Glad you liked it, too.

Whoo-hoo! Great article, as always. And the Mal/Doctor comparison was quite amusing. :)

Many thanks! :) BTW, I cried like a baby last night over Dr. Who when we lost Nine. I know Ten's fabulous, everyone says so, but Nine is my favorite Dr. so far, and I hate to see him go. What a beautiful, tragic episode! ("Coward. Any day.")

Yea, it was sad, but a great episode. And boy, did the writers had no trouble at all killing off secondary characters at all this year, did they? I also liked how they had the "timestream" running behind/over the flashback sequences.

But yes, the episode, and the season were, as the Doctor would have put it, "Fantastic!"
