In SF and Jeffrey Combs-watching news, the new season of The 4400 begins this evening with a two-hour premiere. (Catch up on seasons one and two with Revolution Science Fiction.) According to SCI FI Wire, "guest star Jeffrey Combs will appear in seven of the upcoming season's thirteen episodes, reprising the role of twitchy scientist Kevin Burkhoff." And why not? After all, Jeffrey Combs is twitchy scientist love.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Lots of birthdays today, I see, and from glancing through the interests of moirymoe and groovekittie, I see we all share a love of X-Men.

Hmmm, I wonder what they thought of the new movie.

Meanwhile, I am spending my birthday (41st) with my sister and her family. My nieces just bought me roses, and my brother-in-law is baking a cake for me. Chocolate, of course.

as for the 3rd movie...haha. excellent acting as (almost) always, but the writers needed to discover this magical thing called 'plot connection'.

I started watching jeffrey comb movies after I saw him in Castle Freak.

I didn't even know he was in a tv show recently. Jay won't buy me cable!

Yay - someone else who's seen Castle Freak! I love his angsty, guilt-ridden, crypt-crawling performance in that one. Nice death scene, too! He's such a fun actor to watch.
