And also happy birthday to The Shire's Virginia Lórien, a.k.a. Virginia, the world's most beautiful Boston terrier and our best friend, who was born this day in 2002. We love you, Hobbit girl!

Thanks so much! Virginia sends licks your way. We took her out to the drive-in for tater tots, which is her idea of heaven. :) And thanks also for your kind words about my quotes. Certain ones really stick with me, so I pull them out whenever I can. You may note that I'm not exactly discriminating in my taste, though: one minute Shakespeare, the next The Crow. But that's me, I guess! ;) By the way, I loved the pictures you posted. I've been meaning to reply to your post. It's great to put faces with names, and everything there looks so beautiful! (So not dead and so not iced over!) Just gorgeous.
